Yes. Painting, hiding, finding, chatting, following journeys, and using the core map are free. Premium is optional: it adds quality-of-life perks, extra cosmetics, and stronger rewards for people who want to support Stobi.
Stobi shows an approximate search area instead of exposing exact personal coordinates. Your real-time location is used to show nearby stones and verify finds, but it is not shared with other users as a live location.
Stobi is 13+. We check age on sign-up and moderate tightly to keep the community safe for kids and families. No harassment, no explicit content, no personal contact details — ever.
You earn diamonds for real participation: hiding stones, finding stones, getting your own stones found, achievements, and launch bonuses. Diamonds unlock mascot cosmetics and help make each walk feel rewarding.
The map is currently focused on Finland — that's where we're launching first. Global chat works everywhere, so you can share stone art and ideas with painters worldwide. More countries coming soon.
